Columns of characters rain down the screen in green, the leading character glowing brightly. They fall faster while a timer or stopwatch is running.

grid

A retro synthwave floor grid with a sun on the horizon. It scrolls toward you and speeds up while a timer or stopwatch is running, easing to a stop on pause.

rainbow road

A glowing rainbow road races toward you through space, like Mario Kart's Rainbow Road. It speeds up while a timer or stopwatch is running and rolls to a stop on pause.

digits

glass

The digits turn into glass: transparent, with a bright edge and a light gradient. Works best with a background effect behind them.

pulse

The big digits gently pulse in size to a steady rhythm.

chroma

A chromatic-aberration / RGB-split shimmer on the digits, like a glitchy screen.

lightning

Electric sparks flicker across the screen in your glow color. They get more intense while a timer or stopwatch is running.

scanlines

Faint horizontal scan lines overlay the screen, like an old CRT monitor.

hide labels

Hides every label in the clock view — only the digits remain. You then need to know yourself which area does what.

no more labels

The clock view now shows digits only. Nothing will tell you any more which area opens the stopwatch, the timer or the settings — you need to know that yourself. To bring the labels back: settings → effects → screen.
